Welcome to DuoCircle! Now that your account is set up, the final step is configuring your mail client or device to send email via DuoCircle’s Outbound SMTP service. This guide provides the settings and steps you need to start sending emails.

Prerequisites

  • Access to your DuoCircle account.
  • Email client or device ready for configuration.
  • Credentials for your DuoCircle SMTP service (username and password).

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Configure Your Mail Client:

Open your email client and locate the settings to configure the outgoing SMTP server. 

Replace the current settings with the following:

SMTPS (SSL/TLS)465 (default), 587, or 10465

2. Add SPF Records:

If you are using SPF records, ensure you add include:outbound.mailhop.org to your SPF record for proper email authentication.

3. Start Sending Mail:

After completing the configuration, you are now ready to send emails through DuoCircle’s Outbound SMTP service.

Issue: Errors authenticating with SMTP.
