Accessing and Filtering Message Logs in DuoCircle Admin Portal

Introduction: One of the key features of the DuoCircle Admin Portal is the ability to access your message logs across all active services, such as Email Gateway, MX Backup, Email Forwarding, and Outbound SMTP. All message logs are protected by phishing protection if included in your plan. 


NOTE:  Mail logs will show the messages from ALL of your active services.

Prerequisites:

  • Access to the DuoCircle Admin Portal.
  • At least one active DuoCircle service (e.g., Email Gateway, MX Backup, Email Forwarding, or Outbound SMTP).
  • Appropriate permissions to view message logs.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

To Filter by "Action is":

  1. Log into the Admin Portal.
  2. Navigate to Services >> My Services.
  3. Select an active service from the list.
  4. In the left pane, click on View Message Log under the Configuration menu.

  6. On the message logs screen, click the search filter icon:

  8. In the drop-down menu for "Action is", select one of the following options: Quarantine, Deliver, Delete, Reject, Defer, Error, or Queue. Click Search to filter the logs.

To Filter by "Contains is" (Inbound):

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above.
  2. If you have more than one registered domain and would like to view the logs for a specific domain, use the search filter and set the To field to contain the desired domain name.

To Filter by "SMTP Username" (Outbound):

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above.
  2. If you have both inbound and outbound mail services, to view only outgoing emails, type in your Outbound SMTP username and click Search.
